Hi Michelle

All looks very good, had a look on the internet. I remember Barbara talking about going to India a little while about, it may have been this place.

YES I HAVE BEEN TO KERALA FOR THE AURVEDIC TREATMENT.STAYED THERE FOR THREE WEEKS.........LOTS OF MASSAGES....PLENTY OF PEACE..........ALL GREENERY. I WENT TO A PLACE CALLED COCHHIN IN KERALA....IT WAS HIGHLY RECCOMMENDED........BUT I AM AFRAID IT DID NOT WORK FOR ME....YOU HAVE TO EAT STRICTLY BLAND FOOD.NO MEAT. NO SPICE......HALF THE TIME I USED TO SNEAK OUT AND HAVE A BOTTLE OF COKE........OF COURSE THE DOCTOR USED TO CATCH ME OUT...ANYWAY...I DID HEAR THAT BARBARA WENT COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO.I WONDER HOW SHE GOT ON..TRUTHFULLY SPEAKING I DID NOT TAKE MY TREATMENT THAT SERIOUSLY THEREFORE I DID NOT GET MUCH RESULT......I HOPE YOU DO BETTER THAN DID.....BUT IT WAS A MEMORABLE HOLIDAY FOR ME....IF YOU NEED ANY MORE INFORMATION.I WILL BE MORE THAN WILLING TO HELP........SHEENA x

Hi Michelle,

I am planning to go to India for treatment at an ayurveda hospital in Kerala called Kottakkal Ayra Viadya Sala. I am not seeking a miracle cure, but hope to be able to manage the illness better, and to improve my general health and well-being. I have heard of some successes with RA treatments, however, as Sheena said the treatment is very strict and does not work for everyone.

The hospital is one of the oldest ayurveda centres in India and runs on a charitable basis, but is also available to foreigners at reasonable rates. I am planning to go in January or February, as these months tend to be the coldest, and I would like some sun on my old bones!

Check out: www.aryavaidyasala.com/ http://www.samajam.org/Hospital.html

love,

Barbara
